Progrography

Al Di Meola
Quite possibly the greatest living guitarist, Al Di Meola rose to prominence as part of Chick Corea's fusion outfit, Return to Forever. His first solo album, Land of the Midnight Sun, appeared in 1976. His next, Elegant Gypsy, went gold. Since then, Di Meola's works have consistently ranked at the top of the jazz charts, departing sometimes from the fusion style for which he is best known. Like Corea, Di Meola has integrated many Spanish and Latin styles into his music, specifically tango and flamenco.
