Bob Mould
The best thing about Husker Du, he was in a mad hurry to get through the pretty, like a claustrophobe exiting a crowded train. His first solo albums after the breakup were slower, softer, but really there was only the one direction to go. Mould later formed another trio, Sugar, that represented a slightly sweeter vision of Husker Du's heavy crush.
