Buffalo Springfield
These psychedelic folk/rock pioneers released three interesting albums before going on to greater things, namely Crosby, Stills & Nash, Neil Young and Poco. Their personalities never really meshed on vinyl but they did leave behind some classic songs, including "For What It's Worth" and "Mr. Soul."
