In the wake of U2, record companies sounded The Alarm and answered with The Call. Both bands were products of the '80s, and there they shall stay for eternity. Singer/songwriter Michael Been probably deserved a better fate, and finally got around to making a very good album on Red Moon, their last. The Call reunited briefly for 1997's To Heaven And Back.
