Cathedral
You can think of Cathedral as a kind of Napalm Sunday, since it all comes down to Ex-Napalm Death singer Lee Dorrian deciding to update the classic Black Sabbath sound. It isn't grindcore, or goregrind, but a mixture of 90s metal, horror and homage to Sabbath all swirled together. Guitarist Garry "Gaz" Jennings and Dorrian are the linchpins, with the rhythm section of Leo Smee and Brian Dixon rounding out the band's "classic" lineup. Although the band has never achieved anything close to commercial success, they continue to grind out new albums, including 2010's well-received The Guessing Game.
