Crash Test Dummies
Brad Roberts and the Dummies made a powerful impression with "Superman's Song" and, later, "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm." Infrequent releases, however, relegated them to peripheral players on the pop stage, current owners of a core following drawn to that improbably deep voice and its absurd musings on life.
