T he second single from the studio/live hybrid Wheels of Fire was a live version of Robert Johnson’s “Crossroads” that simply smoked. Featuring Eric Clapton on vocals, it was a harbinger of things to come from the blues guitarist on his own. The flip side is the psychedelic curio “Passing The Time,” no better and no worse than some of Traffic’s early trips. Both songs are identical to the elpee versions, so you can pass on this single without missing anything.
