Daryl Stuermer
Daryl Stuermer is familiar to prog fans through his work with Genesis and, to a lesser extent, Jean-Luc Ponty. His approach has been consistent through the years: explore distortion and sustain to create atmosphere, cut through the fog with clear, piercing solos. His first solo album, Steppin' Out, featured adult contemporary jazz (a euphemism for something sinister, rest assured). Recent recordings include a collection of Genesis covers.
