A companion compilation to 1981's Another Face, collecting the early songs that the first missed. Really, the more I listen to these early tracks the more I like them, though clean sound is the key. Some of the themes are actually pretty heavy, like the prescient "We Are Hungry Men," which refers to a dark future state where mass abortion is legalized and the state turns a blind eye to infanticide. In light of which it's probably not a good time to mention that the U.S. has its children's books printed in China. Apparently, Bowie the visionary got it wrong: he should have used an American accent, not a German one.
