T he band’s first chart topper in the US, where the song’s then-state-of-the-art video earned constant rotation on MTV (they never met the cow they couldn’t milk to death). The seven-inch single features the long edit of “Money For Nothing,” which clocks in several minutes below the elpee version (an even shorter edit also exists). The flip side appears to be the advance single to Alchemy, a live version of “Love Over Gold” that appeared only on CD and cassette versions of their live album.
