I was searchin’ for this single, and here it is. “Sweet Talkin’ Woman” is three-plus minutes of pure pop Heaven, out of the blue and into my heart. The B side in the US was an edited version of the instrumental overture “Fire On High” from Face The Music, mistakenly attributed to Out of the Blue on the single. Oh well, we can’t all be perfect. In the colorful UK, the chestnut “Bluebird Is Dead” appeared on the flip side. “Sweet Talkin’ Woman” was also issued alongside “Turn To Stone” as part of Jet’s Golden Oldies Series. Note that this appears as “Sweet Talking Woman” in Germany, where apparently they take their English grammar more seriously.
