K M 11.2: THE TWILIGHT OF THEIR CAREER? Well, things were beginning to look dark with these synthetic, over-the-top numbers that sounded like a caricature of The Beatles. As Cheap Trick and even Wings discovered, the fab four simply couldn’t survive beyond 1980 in any but their original container. “Twilight” has its moments, too many of them really, and ends up sounding like a schizophrenic version of “Turn To Stone.” The B side is a nonalbum track, “Julie Don’t Live Here,” that missed the album cut because it simply wasn’t up to snuff. It later appeared on the catch-all compilation, Afterglow.
