Well, yes, they were gone in a flash, but the band did leave behind three underrated albums of progressive rock. Originally, Flash featured two Yes castaways, Peter Banks (guitar) and Tony Kaye (keyboards) alongside Michael Hough (drums), Ray Bennett (bass) and Colin Carter (vocals). Kaye left after the first album (Badger bound), but the quartet continued on with two more solid albums. Not surprisingly, their music sounds like Yes, but a little clumsy where the other was majestic. However, if you've exhausted the work of Yes, this is an avenue worth getting to know.
