A h, Reagan-era optimism even trickled down to the dancefloor, and “Life In One Day” continued the everlasting luck of Dream Into Action. It’s irresistibly upbeat, a precursor to “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” in spirit anyway, with some faux island airs to complement the mental vacation. The US flip side is a nonalbum track, “Learning How To Love,” which proves that Prince could have have taught the King of Pop du Jour a few tricks. A 12-inch remixes the original, while the UK single features the unfortunately titled “Boom Bap Respite” on the B side.
