Mike Keneally
The "stunt" guitarist for Frank Zappa's 1988 tour and thus one of a long line of kings that includes Adrian Belew and Steve Vai. Keneally continued to work with Vai and Dweezil Zappa while releasing a steady string of minor-label masterpieces. A prolific writer, it's not unusual to find a Keneally album with twenty tracks, a good nineteen of which are likely to be inspired lunacy along the lines of Adrian Belew, Frank Zappa, They Might Be Giants and XTC.
