T he Moodies scored a hit in the US with this ELO soundalike, their first Top 20 single since 1973’s “I’m Just A Singer (In A Rock And Roll Band).” If you’re wondering why the single version runs shorter than the elpee, they simply cut a little of the ending off. The flip side is “Painted Smile,” which led off the conceptual trio of tracks from Ray Thomas that brought Long Distance Voyager back home.
