T his single was released to support Seventh Sojourn ("Isn't Life Strange," which was also included on that album, had been released on its own in April 1972). "I'm Just A Singer" remains one of a handful of early Moodies tracks that still gets occasional airplay. The flip side is also a gem, the album track "For My Lady." Actually, this was the impetus for my buying the single, since I heard the track years ago and fell in love with it (thanks to a very fine lady, Kate). Although I haven't been able to confirm this yet, it appears the version above is a Polygram reissue c. 1987. This version, released in the US, features a reddish-brown/white Deram label (as opposed to the original Threshold label). Polygram may have re-issued other singles as well under the Deram label when they acquired rights to the Moodies' early albums in 1987.
