Paul Haslinger
Paul Haslinger joined Tangerine Dream in 1986 and remained until 1991. Following the departure of Chris Franke, Haslinger and Edgar Froese continued to release fine work under the TD banner, including Tyger, Optical Race and (with Jerome Froese aboard) Lily On The Beach and Melrose. His solo career began in 1994, with Future Primitive. 1996's World Without Rules (the only Haslinger disc I've heard to date) is a marvel of middle eastern-tinged electronica, one of the most pleasant surprises to grow in the shadow of the great Tangerine tree. Haslinger has also appeared with Lightwave and formed Coma Virus for 1997's Hidden.
