The Payola$
Canada's contribution to 80s new wave music, or part of it anyway, The Payola$ hooked me early with a song called "Juke Box." I actually saw them live in 1983 at DC's Wax Museum and they were a lot of fun. Unfortunately, they seem to have been swallowed by the Great Gray Blanding what et most of the early new wave bands. Surprisingly, Paul Hyde and Bob Rock re-formed the band for 2007's Langford Part One.
