I can only speak to the US promo that I own, but this version of “Do It Yourself (D.I.Y.)” is noticeably different from the elpee version. The basic tracks feel about the same, but the lead vocal track is different and horns are added. I like the elpee version better, but the single version is at least easier to understand (e.g., I never knew the line went “I’m just looking for the resurrection”). A curio worth having if you’re a Gabriel collector.
