T his is uncommonly long for a single, over five minutes, which may explain why it didn’t chart better. Otherwise it’s one of the catchiest songs on Phil’s second album. Oddly, it doesn’t appear to have been issued in the UK as a single, where you’d think there’d be more of an audience for a slightly left-of-center song like this. Amazingly, it would be nine months before Phil Collins mounted another siege on the charts with the theme song “Against All Odds.” The two songs were later reunited on an Oldies reissue.
