O h, my, this is a fun song, steeped in the boogaloo spirit. The 45 rpm single is identical to the elpee track save for about a half-minute shaved from the original fadeout ending. The B side is right in step with original. These two tracks actually appear in this order on the Ringo elpee, which is something I like since it preserves the continuity of the album (which one hopes wasnít randomly assigned). If I listen to an album a lot, I find I anticipate the songs in that order, which makes listening to compilations a little disturbing at first, especially if the song that usually follows is one of my favorites. All by way of saying that I donít have any insight to shed on this single but felt chatty this morning.
