T he second single from The Principle of Moments, “In The Mood” ensured that Plant’s latest moment in the spotlight extended into 1984. The single edit version shaves off the beginning and ending, including those distracting, metallic seagull shrieks (or whatever that noise is in the background). Live versions of “Pledge Pin” and “Horizontal Departure” showed up on UK versions of the single. Of minor interest, this appears to be the first release on Plant's own Es Paranza label.
