H old on, I thought disco was already dead. Don’t they tell Carlos Santana anything in that band? The single version is a half-minute shorter than the elpee version. I listened to them side by side, got sleepy, had a second cup of coffee, scratched my 12.5% German heinie like the barely evolved monkey man that I am and realized that I hadn’t been paying very close attention while either version was playing. Probably they cut out part of the ending or shortened the guitar solo or something. I’d rather sing of the Oxun anyway; it’s got a little jungle vibe running through it and a sneaky melody, exactly the sort of thing that makes me snag a Shango so many years on.
