T he band’s first US hit. Also their last US hit. Honestly, even the UK dropped the ball on this band, where the Enz were a two-hit wonder (“History Never Repeats” ironically). What helped the band considerably was the burgeoning field of music videos, since the Enz took to the visual medium like fish to water. This video featured a then-innovative device where the band appeared to be playing in a framed painting. The B side is Eddie Rayner’s “Double Happy,” a little rollercoaster of an instrumental that’s still a hoot today. Both tracks appear identical to the True Colours versions despite slightly different track times.
