O n the surface, “One Step Ahead” seemed a carbon copy of “I Got You,” and so there must have been some who groused that the Enz were a one-hit wonder. Of course, I’m so familiar with the pair today that they sound more like cousins than twins. The B side on the Canadian single is “Clumsy,” also from the Corroboree/Waiata album, again unedited from elpee. The US 7-inch single, which featured the non-album "In The Wars" on the flip, apparently employs the same laser-etching technology last seen on True Colours.
