Yes clones who took advantage of that band's mid '70s hiatus to launch their own career. Starcastle released four albums in three years, but never had the commercial impact of similarly inspired bands Kansas and Styx. Their mimicry of vintage Yes is sometimes uncanny, from the finely detailed keyboard embellishments to the airy and imagist vocals, so Yes fans who can abide a doppleganger are advised to seek out Starcastle's first three records.
