T he first (and most familiar) of Stills’ solo singles, “Love The One You’re With” followed the singles from Déjà Vu in smooth succession and thus got wrapped into the whole CS&N storybook, appearing on the live 4-Way Street soon after. The B side sounds like one of the dreamier bits from Pet Sounds, including vibes and horns and the sort of hazy edges you’d expect from a mirage. Both tracks are identical to the versions on Stephen’s first untitled elpee. A later reissue combined this with “Change Partners” from his next album.
