A lthough this doesn’t appear to have been issued on commercial markets, “Puzzlin’ Evidence” did get some radio play. Of course, on my tinny little radio, I thought they were singing “Boston and The Mets” in the chorus (it was around World Series time, if that explains anything). I’ve since figured out the chorus, but I’m still puzzled by its meaning; maybe a vague protest against major media and commercialism? (If anyone knows better, or hasn’t blocked the True Stories movie from memory like I have, feel free to fill me in.) Since this is the same elpee version you’ll find on True Stories (the band’s version), I don’t know why anybody would want to own it (I have an excuse). And just for old times’ sake... Moo-kie! Moo-kie!
