M y favorite song from Little Creatures. It was interesting to read an interview with Tina Weymouth and hear her talk about how the band was waiting for the record company to identify potential singles from the album before it was released. I hope they fired whoever picked “The Lady Don’t Mind.” This and “And She Was” both got the video treatment; the videos are now included as part of the Rhino reissue of Little Creatures. (Rhino always seems to get it right.) Also included on that reissue is an early version of “Road To Nowhere.” Although this single version runs about twenty seconds than the elpee, it’s really not worth mentioning; listening to them side by side I can’t tell the difference. Interestingly, this song also charted in South Africa. How do I know? A terrific site called The South African Rock Encyclopedia.
