Them
Time might have forgotten Them if not for the presence of Van Morrison. The Belfast-based British Invasion band released two albums with Van in the mid Sixites, including a handful of hits ("Gloria," "Here Comes The Night," "Baby Please Don't Go"). When Van left, the band secured a new contract and released a few psychedelic albums before calling it quits in 1971. The early albums are solid R&B records similar to The Animals and The Rolling Stones but not as hot.
