F ree to love you or, failing that, I can pay you. Prog fans should save their money, unless they’re looking to expand their alphabet of arena rock atrocities past Alpha and Astra. The two singles I’ve heard from Girls With Guns are terrible; product in every sense of the word. You don’t believe me? Product (def1): that which is made by industry or art; in this case industry. Product (def2): result; what happens when a supporting player leaves for the illusory lights of solo stardom. Product (def3): a substance resulting from chemical change; somebody had to be taking something to think this was a good idea. Product (def4): the number obtained by multiplying two numbers together; 10 (songs) multiplied by zero (inspiration) equals this. I know this seems unduly harsh but I hate to see prog heroes cross over to the dark side, and it doesn’t get much darker than this.
