Progrography

The Velvet Underground
The most influential blah blah blah I'm just not feeling it today. The band did release one brilliant album, the one with Nico and the banana, but the followup was falling down drunk or high or both and everything else. John Cale left after that, and the band (under Lou Reed's complete direction) released two fine albums of rock and roll, then ceased to matter entirely.
