O ne of those pick-up-the-chick-after-the-show songs, which number more than a few. Being a cold-blooded creature myself, this turned me off like a cold shower. The single version is radically edited from the elpee version, cutting out more than a minute of sexist swagger. The B side is the instrumental “Tramontane,” one of the most progressive moments from Double Vision. “Hot Blooded” was later reissued as a two-fer with “Double Vision.” The song “Hot Blooded” also appeared on the soundtrack to Vision Quest, which if I remember correctly was about some spanky little high-school wrestler who had a boner for some chick. Or as they say in the wrestling world, a match made in Heaven.
