T he song “I Don’t Want To Do It” appeared on the soundtrack to Porky’s Revenge. (Seems to me they already had their revenge with the first movie.) Written by Bob Dylan and produced by Dave Edmunds (whose last two records had been produced by Jeff Lynne), it presages the sound of The Traveling Wilburys, suggesting an update to Dylan’s classic “Lay Lady Lay” in its breezy manner and lilting organ lines. It’s a fine song, better than the movie deserved at any rate. The flip side, “Queen of the Hop,” is by Edmunds.

SUGGESTED VIEWING
Bearing in mind that I'm not actually suggesting you watch this, you can find a used copy of Porky's Revenge at GEMM. I'm assuming this song actually appears within the movie, since I've never seen it. Well, maybe glimpses of it on tv before the chilling realization sets in that "Omigod, this is that crappy Porky's thing" and I quickly change the channel.
