Progrography

Ian Dury & The Blockheads
Delirious disco music hall and demented patter delivered in a gruff, thick English accent would seem an unlikely formula for success, yet you couldn't help but like Ian Dury & The Blockheads. The band released two outstanding albums and some great singles, then sort of fizzled as Dury became difficult. The band released Mr. Love Pants in 1998 before Ian's passing into the Great Known. The posthumous Ten More Turnips was well received.
