Jay Ferguson
Singer, keyboardist & shirtless manmuffin with long hair a-flowin', Jay Ferguson was all of these things and a mildly successful solo artist. Maybe a little too mild, really. He started in the subversive Spirit, then split with Spirit's bass player (Mark Andes) to form Jo Jo Gunne before going solo with the unfortunately titled All Alone In The End Zone. Thunder Island gave him a Top 10 hit with the title track, followed by a few more solo albums, then film work. These days, Jay is probably best known for writing the theme to the US TV series, "The Office."
