John Wetton
One of prog rock's premium free agents. The bassist/vocalist (and sometime keyboardist) has played both a large and small role with progressive rock's finest: King Crimson, Family, Uriah Heep, U.K., Asia and Roxy Music. Although Wetton has released a handful of solo albums over the years, he apparently harbors few illusions about his own legacy. His live performances, and the live releases that litter his discography, continue to draw heavily from his past work with King Crimson, Asia and UK. Once the consummate team player, Wetton has traded in on his own name recognition in the '90s and onward. Sinister, which featured new material, was released in the spring of 2001.
