McGuinn, Clark & Hillman
Sixty percent of the original Byrds, then fifty percent and, finally, forty percent. It reads like a battyrye being drained, except that this was more of a soul-draining exercise a la Firefall. The first album did feature a handful of gems ("Surrender To Me," "Don't You Write Her Off," "Long Long Time"); the two follow-ups arrived empty handed.
