Ra
Led by Sahaj Ticotin, Ra is one of a new breed of metal bands (nu metal) that fuses the crunching 90s thrash metal sound with (in their case) melody, harmony, electronics and middle eastern musical themes. Kinda sounds like a cross between Galactic Cowboys and Led Zeppelin's "Kashmir," in case you're wondering. Their debut is definitely worth picking up if you enjoy modern metal.
