Roger McGuinn
After The Byrds, McGuinn released a series of 70s solo albums with minor success. Jacques Levy was a lyrical collaborator, the Rolling Thunder Revue his accomplished accomplices, Mick Ronson produced Cardiff Rose, and you can kinda build a mithology out of all those bits and pieces. McGuinn later reunited with fellow Byrdmen Gene Clark and Chris Hillman for a few albums together. In 1991, Tom Petty helped out on the successful Back From Rio. Lately, McGuinn has revived his longstanding interest in American folk music with a newfound interest in digital technology, resulting in the Folk Den projects.
