Saga
Saga is the second-greatest progressive rock band to come out of Canada. (Yeah, I know, it looks bigger on the map, doesn't it?) They could just as easily fit into the progressive pop/arena rock category if you wanted to split hairs: their songs were shorter, as likely to lead with keyboards as guitar, and I don't think anyone in the band was carrying a torch for the old prog gods the way that Marilion was. Saga's big break came with Worlds Apart, released at the height of arena rock's fashion. Despite limited commercial success, the band struck a chord with listeners, and the Saga continues to this day.
