The The
Matt Johnson, The Man behind The The, seems to emerge every few years just to remind us how horrible we are. His songs are a mixture of synthesizer pop and self flagellation, his voice similar to the equally sinister Barry Andrews (of Shriekback). It's all Soul Mining after a sort, though that album found a redeeming streak in us ("This Is The Day") where Infected only found sin and anger. The band hasn't released anything since 2000's NakedSelf; could this be The The End?
